M.Sc's can apply for Project Positions @ Delhi University | Positions lead to PhD

Applications are invited from candidates possessing masters degree with atleast 55% and UGC/CSIR/ICMR/DBT/ICAR NET fellowship to work in an interdisciplinary research programme entitled “Development of indicators for anthropogenic, environmental and chemical stress on urban ecosystem: A study of aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems of Yamuna river catchment from National Capital Region (Delhi)” sponsored by University of Delhi under DST-PURSE programme.

Position: Project Positions
1. Zoology – Aquatic biology (fish biology)
2. Botany – GIS/RS applications for land use change, Carbon stock assessment and mapping
3. Microbiology – Pathogenic microbes and their population genetics using molecular techniques

Qualification: M.Sc Zoology, Botany, Microbiology which leads to PhD.

The selected candidates will be provided an opportunity to work in an interdisciplinary research area (which could lead to their Ph.D. on successful completion), sufficient contingent grants and lab facilities to implement such research programme. Some additional travel support if required could be provided.
